Terms of use

By using Tinda, the kindergarten and its users agree to these terms. We have written them as plainly as we can.

1Who we are

  • Tinda is a kindergarten and nursery management platform run by Marwa Ali, based in Al Ghubrah North, Bawshar, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

2The service

  • Tinda is a cloud system for running kindergartens: attendance, daily reports, parent communication, fees and invoices, staff, documents and more.

3Launch period: the service is free

  • Tinda is currently in a launch pilot. Use during this period is completely free and we charge no fees.
  • Before any paid subscription starts, we will share prices with the kindergarten at least 30 days in advance, and no fees apply without its written agreement.
  • The kindergarten may stop using Tinda at any time with no obligation.

4The kindergarten's responsibilities

  • The accuracy of the data it enters, and obtaining the necessary parental consents, especially for children's photos.
  • Granting access only to the right people, keeping passwords confidential, and telling us immediately about any unauthorised access.
  • Using the system only to run the kindergarten, in line with applicable laws.

5Not allowed

  • Trying to access another kindergarten's data, disrupting the system, or uploading harmful or unlawful content.
  • Reselling or copying the system without our written permission.

6Ownership

  • The data the kindergarten enters belongs to it, and it may ask for a copy at any time.
  • The system, its design and the Tinda brand belong to Tinda.

7Availability and support

  • We aim to keep the system running at all times, with regular backups, but it may occasionally stop for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
  • Technical support is provided on WhatsApp.

8Limitation of liability

  • During the free launch period the service is provided “as is”, and we do our best to fix any issue quickly.
  • We are not responsible for decisions the kindergarten makes based on data it entered itself, or for indirect losses.

9Ending use

  • The kindergarten may stop using Tinda at any time.
  • We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, notifying the kindergarten where possible.
  • After that, data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

10Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.

11Changes

  • We may update these terms and will inform subscribing kindergartens of any material change before it takes effect.
